Audience Game OK, folks, let's play an audience game for the first time this season. As always, we're looking for the three players closest to the right answer to the following question. We'll narrow that field down to one and then that player will go on a treasure hunt for twenty-fi... uh, sorry... had a "New Treasure Hunt" flashback (enjoyed seeing that on the GSN countdown recently).
Remember, in audience games, qualifying's open to anyone regardless of when you've played the main game of Net Poker.
Time for our version of "The Price *WAS* Right". In 1993, a 200-year-old piece of Tibetan cheese was auctioned off for how much money? Please respond to the nearest American dollar.
Answers are due Monday at 6:00pm EDT/5:00pm CDT.
(time passes)
And we're done. Let's see the right answer.
QUALIFYING ANSWER
$1513
Fifteen-thirteen. Who's the closest?
Michael Clifford $1,513
Wow, Michael, you must've eaten Tibetan cheese. Next closest.
Matt Taylor $7,350
You may be off by a mile -- but you're in it, Matt. Joining you two will be...
Tyrone Allen $21,600
...wow, Tyrone, I've got some Tibetan cheese to sell you after the show. Seriously, Michael, Matt and Tyrone will play Keno. Thanks to everyone else for playing.

They are Michael Clifford, Matt Taylor and Tyrone Allen.

Doug: Thanks, D.J. and welcome, gents. We're going to play the audience game we first used as an audience game -- Keno. Now, it's been quite awhile since we last played this. So, here's a refresher.
Doug: We've arranged the Aces and face cards in a 4x4 grid. All of the Aces are in the left column, then Kings and Queens in the middle columns and Jacks in the right column. Reading from top to bottom, the Spades, Hearts, Clubs and Diamonds are each confined to a row.
In front of D.J. is a deck of 16 cards -- Ace through Jack of each suit. In a moment, she'll start drawing cards from the top of the deck. Each time she draws, we mark the corresponding card on the video screen.

Doug: We'll keep this up until four spots are marked horizontally, vertically or diagonally. Now, before we start, it's up to you to predict a horizontal, vertical or diagonal win. Each correct prediction of horizontal or vertical pays CY$1000. But if you pick diagonal correctly, the payoff is tripled for CY$3000 total.
The player with the most cyber-money goes on to spin against the outlaw in the video slot challenge. And since this is a one decision game, we could have a tie for the lead. A new rule this season: should an audience game end in a tie, we go to Dice Poker to break the tie.
So, with all that said, please predict a horizontal, vertical or diagonal win.
(players lock in decisions)
Doug: And we're all set. Michael, what was your prediction?
Michael: diagonal win
Doug: Diagonal for you. What for Matt?
Matt: I'll go horizontal.
Doug: Horizontal for Matt -- and Tyrone?
Tyrone: I'm going for Vertical.

Doug: Interesting. Three different predictions. Now it is possible, depending on the luck of the draw, that all three predictions would be winners. But should that happen, Michael would advance to the Outlaw's Video Slot Challenge because diagonals pay the most. Deej, let's play Keno.
D.J.: And we start with the Queen of Diamonds.
Doug: And we mark that card in the last row and third column of the screen.
D.J.: Queen of Hearts
Doug: Well, two more Queens and we're done.
D.J.: King of Hearts
Doug: OK, halfway toward a vertical now as well as a horizontal.
D.J.: *Ace* of Hearts
Doug: One more Heart and we make a line horizontally.
D.J.: Ace of Clubs
Doug: First Club in the game now.
D.J.: Jack of Diamonds
Doug: And we're now halfway toward a diagonal.
D.J.: Ace of Spades
Doug: And could we complete the improbable diagonal?
D.J.: King of Spades -- not yet.
Doug: Getting mighty interesting now.
D.J.: Jack of Clubs.
Doug: Oooh, if it were a Heart, we'd be finished. But instead, Deej keeps on keepin' on.
D.J.: King of Diamonds.
Doug: Now, if the next card's the Ace of Diamonds, we'll have a horizontal and vertical win.
D.J.: Queen of Spades
Doug: OK, folks. Full count. Next card will end it. How do we end?
D.J.: King of Clubs.
Doug: And that means Tyrone's the big winner.
