(Ben Bailey holds a picket sign -- in what appears to be a scene from
the recent NYC employees' transit work stoppage)

Rich Jeffries: "Ca$h Cab Drivers Want More Ca$h" (audience laughs)
will not be seen at this time -- in order that we may bring you
something that should *strike* your fancy. (audience groans)

======================================================================

(smooth jazz theme plays) (fade into one-shot of champion)

Rich: This is our current champion, Michael Clifford. So far, he has won two games as well as trips to Washington, D.C.; the British Virgin Islands and Los Angeles for Rock n' Roll Fantasy Camp. He's also won a total of CY$64,650. He is back to play the card game where high hands can bring high rewards. This is Net Poker.

(audience cheers)

Rich: And now, from Studio 63, here's the star of our show, Doug Morris!

(Doug walks out from behind the video poker screen)

Doug: Thanks, Rich Jeffries. Hellooooooooo, everybody and welcome to Net Poker. As he just alluded to, we have an affluent champion. And if he wins tonight's game, he's going to be more affluent -- with a car and CY$100,000 added to his winnings. And who knows what else. We've got two challengers that want to put a stop to all that. And here to introduce them is D.J. Hamilton.

(audience cheers) (D.J. walks out wearing a pair of dark slacks and a white tuxedo shirt)

D.J.: Hi, everyone.

Doug: Cool outfit, Deej.

D.J.: Thanks. For once, I thought I'd wear more than some of the ladies on "Dancing with the Stars".

(audience laughs)

Doug: Considering I'm a married man, I thank you for not having to explain what happened to my wife. Well, we know who the champ is. Who are the challengers?

D.J.: Tonight, we welcome to Net Poker Dustin Riley and Jason Wuthrich.

(ding) (audience cheers)

Doug: Thanks, Deej. We'll see you later in this round. Players, this is a round we call...

Doug: ...Video Poker and we've just spotted each of you 10 points. In a moment, we'll play a series of five questions -- each one worth 10 additional points. Chime in with the right answer and the points are yours. After five questions, we'll go to the big video screen and play for more points. Hands on the buzzers and away we go...

The current host of Antiques Roadshow spells his last name with...

(Jason buzzes in)

Doug: Jason.

MICHAEL
DUSTIN
JASON

(audience applause)

Doug: Mark L. Walberg hosts that show on PBS. The actor from Boogie Nights, Planet of the Apes and others spells his name Mark Wahlberg with an H. Next question...

When listing every contender Donald Trump fired in all of his versions of The Apprentice by first name only, you must include...
\ Ivana
\ Marla
\ all of the above

(Jason buzzes in)

Doug: Jason again.

Jason: Ivana. I don't recall there being a Marla yet.

Doug: Right on all counts.

MICHAEL
DUSTIN
JASON

(audience applause)

Doug: Why do I get the feeling he wants to fire someone named Martha? (audience laughs) Anyhoo, Jason with the early lead. More TV trivia on the way...

South Beach is the title of ...
\ an ABC crime drama starring Yancy Butler
\ a UPN drama starring former Miss America Vanessa Williams
\ all of the above
\ none of the above

(Jason buzzes in)

Doug: Jason.

Jason: There's got to be an "all of the above" sooner or later, and I'll say it's here. All of the above.

Doug: Not this time. Anyone else? (Dustin buzzes in) Dustin.

Dustin: A UPN drama starring Vanessa Williams?

Doug: You realize you don't have to respond in question form on this show. (light laughter from the crowd) And you're right.

MICHAEL
DUSTIN
JASON

(audience applause)

Doug: The other South Beach was on NBC. We should note as this game is in progress, it's been announced UPN and The WB are merging operations and creating a newly named network "The CW". Anyhoo, next query...

IBM, also known as International Business Machines,...
\ is nicknamed "big red"
\ introduced the floppy disc
\ all of the above
\ none of the above

(Dustin buzzes in)

Doug: Dustin.

Dustin: Introduced the floppy disc.

Doug: Indeed they did. (audience applause) Challengers tied for the lead at 30. One more question and we're headed for the video screen.

Actress Natalie Portman...

\ all of the above
\ none of the above

(Dustin buzzes in)

Doug: Dustin.

Dustin: Was Padme in not just one, but all three Star Wars prequels.

Doug: Yeah, I think Sparky left out "trilogy" on the first choice. But, in any event, you're right.

MICHAEL
DUSTIN
JASON

(audience applause)

Doug: We're going to have to dock 50 cents from his pay for that. (light laughter from the crowd) After five questions, Dustin leads with 40 points, Jason's in second with 30. Michael I promise you has been buzzing in; the others have just been beating him to the punch. Time for the second half of the round. D.J.'s over by the big screen to tell us all about it.
