Doug: Brian, you're up next after we shuffle the cards.

(cards are shuffled on the video screen; after shuffling stops, the cards are covered immediately with the 24 numbers)

Doug: And before I turn you loose, tell us a little about yourself.

Brian: I'm from Cloquet, MN and at the moment I'm currently hosting 'Net Powerball Instant Millionaire. I'm a fan of Power Rangers, game shows, and Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Doug: I still remember that bit about Saddam Hussein Internatonal Terminal -- also known for short as... umm... we can't go there. (light laughter from the crowd) Pick five numbers, please, before we get thrown off the air.

Brian: How about 11, 13, 18, 6, and 5.

Doug: Well... how about 11, 13, 18, 6 and 5?

(FF reveal sfx) (audience cheers)

Doug: How about a full house, Brian? If you stopped your possession right now, I'll add 40 points to your score. But, if you feel you can do better, make exchanges.

Brian: I'll stick with the 40 points.

Doug: Forty you want, forty you get.

(audience cheers)

Doug: Michael, if you can make a 20-point straight, you'll tie Brian and we'll go to a tie-breaker. A flush is worth 25 points. So if you can make a flush, full boat, four of a kind, straight flush or royal flush, you'll win the round. As you've seen, anything can still happen. So, we'll start making something happen by shuffling the cards

(cards are shuffled on the video screen; after shuffling stops, the cards are covered immediately with the 24 numbers)

Doug: And before you try for the tie or win, tell us about yourself.

Michael: Before I introduce myself, I would just like to say welcome back to Netgames. Everyone here missed you & I am glad that you & Cindy are alive & well.

(audience applause)

Doug: Thanks, Michael. My wife and I were definitely among the lucky ones. We only lost a few shingles at our place. But a number of other buildings around town are just beyond repair.

Michael: OK, my name is Michael Clifford. I am from Marlton, New Jersey. I am currently unemployed. I like watching game shows and playing netgames. Also, on September 28, I became an uncle twice in the same day. My oldest sisters, Florence & Dawn, gave birth on the same day. Florence had Nicole & Dawn had Thomas.

(audience applause)

Doug: Oh, congratulations. I became an uncle after I married Cindy. Her siblings and siblings-in-law brought a total of four beautiful children to the world. I hope Nicole and Thomas bring joy to your sisters, their husbands and Uncle Michael. OK, now, let's see if you can pull out victory in this round. Five numbers please.

Michael: Let's go with 18, 11, 9, 5, & 24.

Doug: OK, let's see if all that leads to something good...

(FF reveal sfx)

Doug: OK, let's just stop and think for a moment. Two pairs mean 10 points and you'd finish in second place.

So, as you plan to make exchanges, keep in mind a straight gives you 20 points and a tie. Make a flush or another combination that ranks better than a flush and you win.

Michael: Well, I gotta get a 9 or 10 & get the full house. I will exchange the Jack for #23.

Doug: Basic strategic move. Does it pay off for Michael or will Brian win the round? Let's see 23.

(FF reveal sfx)

Doug: Nope, it's a King and Brian wins the round.

Doug: Brian, your luck held out. And now you have a chance to win CY$5000...

Doug: ...it's hiding behind one of the letters in the word "POKER". Of course, we have other prizes behind the other letters. Which one has the five-grand?

Brian: I'll pick 'R'!

Doug: He picks R and behind the R we find...

(winning bells; audience cheers)

Doug: ...CY$5000! Congratulations.
