Deuces Wild Poker

Doug: And we're back. To our studio audience, hang tight. Because after this bonus game, we'll play a new audience game followed by a special video slot challenge.

Michael, as for you...

(FF reveal sfx)

Doug: ...it's time to play Deuces Wild Poker. In this first phase of the endgame, you'll pick one number from each row -- starting at the top row and gradually working toward the bottom row. The closer you get to the bottom, the more likely you'll run into an outlaw. There's only one outlaw in the top row -- but four outlaws in that fourth row.

Each time you don't run into an outlaw, you win a Deuce -- which, as the name of the endgame implies, is wild and can be used for anything when building your poker hand in the second phase. The more Deuces you collect, the more likely you'll win CY$20,000.

However, if you win all four Deuces, forget playing poker -- because you'll instantly win everything within the confines of the Outlaw's Jackpot. And tonight it's holding CY$70,000.

(audience cheers)

Doug: Michael, if you can pull off a jackpot win, you'll pretty much be at the doorstep of the Quarter Million Playoff. But that's the future. Here's the present. First row hides one outlaw. Avoid that outlaw and D.J. will give you the Deuce of Spades.

Michael: Number 3.

Doug: Number 3. Are we off to a good start?

(bing) (audience applause)

Doug: We are.

Doug: Next row down. We have two outlaws to avoid. Avoid them and you win the Deuce of Hearts. Pick a number.

Michael: Number 11

Doug: Eleven it is. And is it a good number?

(bing) (audience applause)

Doug: It is.

Doug: Fifty-fifty time, Michael. On the third row, there are three outlaws to avoid. Pick a number that's not hiding an outlaw and you win the Deuce of Clubs.

Michael: Number 14

Doug: Fourteen. If there's no outlaw at 14, we play for the jackpot on the bottom row.

(bing) (audience cheers)

Doug: Hello!

Doug: Michael, last row. Four outlaws to negotiate your away around. Only two good numbers. Pick a good number and you win all four Deuces plus CY$70,000.

Michael: Number 23

Doug: Number 23. That was Michael Jordan's number once upon a time...

(outlaw says "YEEEEE-hawwww!") (loud groans from the crowd)

Doug: Darn it! Oh so close. Let's reveal where the other nine outlaws were hiding.

(FF reveal sfx)

Doug: Number 20 or 21 were the numbers to go. OK, Michael, let's go after some cyber-money. Here's how...

Doug: ...during the break, we had you cut a deck of cards. The first two cards of that deck just came down the chute. In a moment, you'll pick a card and the card you decline will be discarded immediately. We'll then repeat this process with the next pair.

Doug: Once you've drawn two natural cards, your hand will be complete. And we hope you've drawn cards higher than a 9 of the same suit. That will constitute a CY$20,000 royal flush! (audience cheers) Good luck and pick a card.

Michael: I'll take the left card.

Doug: Left card. Deej, what's on the left?

D.J.: King of Spades. Good card.

(audience applause)

Doug: Indeed a vital ingredient for a royal flush.

Doug: Another spaded Ace, face card or 10 will make you CY$20,000 richer.

Doug: And there's your last pair. Make it a good selection.

Michael: I'll go for the left card again.

(winning bells; audience cheers)

Doug: All right, Michael. You've completed the royal flush for the 20-thousand.

Doug: Well, let's total it all up. You have the Washington trip and a total in cyber-cash of...

Doug: ...a nice round CY$31,000. (audience cheers) Now, Michael, as you'll recall, you ran into one outlaw earlier. That means we sweeten the Outlaw's Jackpot by CY$2500.

Doug: If you manage to get back here in the Deuces Wild round and hit the jackpot -- now worth CY$72,500 -- you will qualify for the Quarter Million Playoff.

(audience cheers) (smooth jazz theme plays)

Doug: Audience, as promised, your turn to share in the winnings. Audience game's coming up after this on Net Poker.
