====================================================================== VBS 63 Voice Guy: "Shanghai Surprise" -- tomorrow on the VBS 63 Dialing For Dollars movie just before VBS Action News at 5:00pm. Who else could pay you for sitting through crummy movies? ======================================================================D.J.: (standing next to Dirty Harry) Welcome back to Net Poker. And look who's here? It's my buddy Dirty Harry from Net Poker Live! and The All-New Big Risk. Say "hi" to the nice folks, Harry.
(Harry gives Deej the "Are you kidding?" look) (audience laughs)
D.J.: Sorry, that's about as joyful as he'll get. Here to play against him in Beat The Dealer are Robert McBride, Andrew Long and Michael Clifford.

Doug: You folks don't realize. We had to call him away from his fishing trip. (light laughter) Robert, Andrew and Michael, here's how we play this game. Look at the video screen.

Doug: Behind the 6 numbers are the Ace through 9 of Spades. In a moment, you'll each take turns drawing one card off the board. After you've each drawn a card, the player with the lowest ranked card is eliminated from the game immediately -- but will receive CY$50 as a consolation prize. The others each win CY$500 and advance to the next level of play.
One more thing, in the event you draw the 9 in this particular level, you're automatically out and the others advance. Conversely, if you draw an Ace or King, you'll know you'll move on to the next round.
Robert, you're in the first position. Pick a number that you think is *not* holding the 9 -- and in the process try and draw a high card.
Robert: #1
Doug: Numero uno. Behind 1 we find what?

Doug: The Queen of Spades. Relatively good card. We'll see if that holds up. Andrew, you're due up now. You definitely want to avoid that 9.
Andrew: #5, Doug.
Doug: Number 5 it is. Show us what's there, Mr. Computer.

Doug: The 9 of Spades. Michael, I would have you pick a number. But, as you'll see...

Doug: ...no matter which number you'd pick, you'd join Robert at the next level. So, this means...

Doug: ...Robert and Michael each take CY$500 to that next level. (audience applause) Andrew, before you return to your seat, our producer will hand you a CY$50 bill. Hopefully we'll see you back up here on stage in a normal Net Poker game. Andrew Long, everyone.
(audience applause) (Andrew shakes hands with the remaining players and exits)
Doug: Now, Robert and Michael, we're going to shuffle the cards...

Doug: ...and now you'll each pick one number off the board. The player with the higher card wins this game, has his cyber-money doubled to CY$1000 and will try to double it three times more to CY$8000 before taking on the Outlaw's Video Slot Challenge.
Robert, again, we start with you. A number please.
Robert: #5
Doug: Number 5. If it's an Ace, you'll automatically win. A 9 means Michael will win a total of CY$1000 just for keep a spot in our studio warm. Let's see 5.

Doug: It's a Queen. Michael, to face Dirty Harry and then the Outlaw's Video Slot Challenge, you'll need to draw a card higher than a Queen.
Michael: 2
Doug: Number 2. If it's a King or Ace you win. If not, Robert's the winner. Let's take a look.

Doug: A thousand cyber-bucks for you, Robert, and you could turn it into CY$8000 in three easy steps. BTW, let's reveal the rest of the board and see which numbers would've been winners for Michael.
