Doug: You folks don't realize. We had to call him away from his fishing trip. (light laughter) Robert, Andrew and Michael, here's how we play this game. Look at the video screen.

Doug: Behind the 6 numbers are the Ace through 9 of Spades. In a moment, you'll each take turns drawing one card off the board. After you've each drawn a card, the player with the lowest ranked card is eliminated from the game immediately -- but will receive CY$50 as a consolation prize. The others each win CY$500 and advance to the next level of play.
One more thing, in the event you draw the 9 in this particular level, you're automatically out and the others advance. Conversely, if you draw an Ace or King, you'll know you'll move on to the next round.
Robert, you're in the first position. Pick a number that you think is *not* holding the 9 -- and in the process try and draw a high card.

Doug: Numero uno. Behind 1 we find what?

Doug: The Queen of Spades. Relatively good card. We'll see if that holds up. Andrew, you're due up now. You definitely want to avoid that 9.
