Joker Poker

JOE

ROBERT

Doug: Jack of Hearts for two pair, you're still in it. Joe, looks like a 9's the only way you'll lose. Anything higher than a 9 will give you either trips or a straight. Of course, the other Joker would make it a winner. Let's have a look, D.J.

JOE

ROBERT

Doug: Jack of Diamonds. We'll call the Joker a King. You win with a straight.

ROBERT

(winning bells; audience applause)

Doug: Congratulations, Joe, you are the new champion. We'll give a chance to win up to CY$10,000 and maybe that Jamaican vacation. Robert, nice seeing you again. You do take CY$1250 home with you along with our great thanks for playing Net Poker. A nice hand for Robert McBride.

(audience cheers)

Doug: All righty, Joe. As the newly-crowned champion, you get to pick two letters in the word "POKER". If you find CY$5000 and CY$2000, you'll collect an extra CY$3000 for the total of 10-grand. And if the "TRIP" card appears above one of your selected letters, you're going to Jamaica.

Joe: I'll take the O and the E.

Doug: O and E. Let's reveal those simultaneously.

(bing)

Doug: Well, you almost double up your total winnings. But, does he get to go to Jamaica?

(bing)

Doug: Not at VBS' expense. However, Joe, you have won a trip -- to sunny Southern California.

D.J.: Uh, but Doug, he lives in the L.A. area and that's where we tape Net ShowDown now.

Doug: Exactly my point! (audience laughs) (smooth jazz theme plays) We'll be back to play Deuces Wild after this.

(audience applause)

(D.J. walks over to Doug, points at him, mouths the word "Cheap!" at the camera)

(audience laughs) (fade to black)
