Doug: Now, since you both played Joker Poker on the last show, I'll spare you the explanation of how this works since this round's similar to Joker Poker.
We had a tie for second place at the end of the last round. Player to the left was offered the cut. Jay, you cut the deck of 24 cards -- Ace through 9 of each suit with no Jokers.
Remember, we have 80 points available in this round. So when one of you scores more than 40, you're off to Joker Poker to play against Joe. Deej, what are the first two cards from the deck our champ cut?
D.J.: We're starting with the Ace of Spades and the Jack of Hearts.
Doug: And before you can start your hand with one of those cards, we play a 10-point question for control of those cards. And this question's a little long -- so play carefully.
"Do not use as a ladder"...

Doug: Not right. Jay, chance to steal.
Jay: It appeared on a warning label for a 12-inch-high CD storage rack.
Doug: That's the right choice.

Doug: BTW, 2004's winning entry was found on a bottle of drain cleaner. The label read, "If you do not understand, or cannot read, all directions, cautions and warnings, do not use this product."
D.J.: But, Doug, if the user's illiterate, doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose?
Doug: Yeah, that's what I say. Anyway, Jay, you get to pick a card.
Jay: I'll take the Ace, please.
Doug: Figured as much...

D.J.: "Wish is D.J.'s command"? I feel I should be wearing my genie outfit.
(men hoot and holler over that idea)
D.J.: Anyway, Jack of Spades and the 10 of Spades.
Doug: Not dignifying that with any remark. Next questions about roundball...

D.J.: ...the Queen of Clubs and the Ace of Hearts.
Doug: And here's the next question for 10...

Robert: The Ace
Doug: Didn't think you'd want to give Jay two Aces...

Doug: ...but as we go into the blind card question, Jay is a Jack shy of a straight, Robert has two Jacks. Let's bring on the fifth pair of cards face down...
