Joker Poker Doug: We're back with Net Poker. By the way, if you want to see just how *really* close we were to a royal flush, take a look at this still image our director took during the break...
[11TH AND 12TH CARDS
IN ROUND 2 DECK]
Doug: ...the Jack of Spades was part of the *sixth* pair of cards in that pack. That close. With that said, it's time for the championship round of Joker Poker.

Doug: While we're on the subject of royal flushes, if one of our players makes a natural royal flush *or* five of a kind in this round, he wins 100-grand and that Aston Martin we showed everyone earlier. John, if you win this round, you're assured of at least CY$100,000 and that car.
Dean and John, this works just like 5-Card Poker -- except that two Jokers have been added to the deck. If you get a Joker, you may substitute for anything when your poker hand's complete.
During the break, Dean cut the cards since he won the first round. And we're about to see those first two cards from the deck.
D.J.: And we're starting with...
D.J.: ...a Joker and the 10 of Clubs.
Doug: An ingredient for a five of a kind and another for a royal in Clubs. Just saying is all. :) Seriously, good luck, a lot's riding on this round. Here we go with the first 10-point question...
Antonio Banderas appeared in the movie...
\ Frida
\ Evita
\ all of the above
\ none of the aboveDoug: Dean
Dean: All of the above.
Doug: He was in both movies. That's right.

Doug: Dean, you're on the board first. Which card would you like first?
Dean: The Joker, please.
Doug: Somehow I'm not surprised...

Doug: ...John gets the 10 by default. We get two more cards to play with.
D.J.: And they are...
D.J.: ...um, here we go again? Anyway, Ace of Hearts and Jack of Clubs.
Doug: Man alive. Well, next question...
The song "Wild Thing" was...
\ a hit for The Troggs
\ written by the brother of Jon Voight
\ all of the above
\ none of the aboveDoug: John.
John: All of the above.
Doug: And we have a tie score.

Doug: Which card would you like?
John: Interesting call, but I've gotta take the Ace.
(a few groans from the crowd)
Doug: (to the audience) Yeah, like you'd *really* do differently.

Doug: Anyway, John with an Ace-10; Dean with potentially two Jacks. And two more cards are on the way.
D.J.: If Earl brings down more Clubs, I'll have to put the paramedics on speed dial.
D.J.: Ah, well, so much for the royal flush. Queen of Diamonds and the 9 of Spades.
Doug: And with that, the only way we'll give away the car is if John wins the round. No pressure. :) (light laughter from the crowd) Next question for 10...
"Angel"/Angel is the one-word title of a...
\ hit song by The Rolling Stones
\ spinoff of the TV series Buffy: The Vampire Slayer
\ all of the above
\ none of the aboveDoug: Dean.
Dean: All of the above.
Doug: Sorry, not right. John, chance to steal the points and control.
John: Spinoff of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer."
Doug: That's right.

D.J.: Or coming down. :) (light laughter from the crowd)
D.J. We have the Joker and the Ace of Diamonds.
Doug: Another wild card up for grabs. The question...
The ampersand, or "&",...

\ none of the aboveDoug: John.
John: All of the above.
Doug: Yes, indeed.

Doug: ...Dean gets the Ace. And now, it's blind card question time...
Doug: ...question's worth 15 points. Dean, you will need to chime in and answer correctly in order to have a chance to win. John, if you score these points, you'll have a majority of the points available in this round -- as well as your third win, CY$100,000 and the new Aston Martin. Good luck, play carefully, here we go...
Wilt Chamberlain scored 100 points in a basketball game...
\ as a member of the Philadelphia 76ers
\ in the year 1961
\ all of the above
\ none of the aboveDoug: Dean.
Dean: 1961? (crosses fingers)
Doug: Sorry, that's not right. John, if you can capitalize, you'll put the game out of reach -- plus win a new Aston Martin and CY$100,000.
John: None of the above.

Doug: Wilt the Stilt was with the Philadelphia Warriors in '62 when he cracked the century mark by himself. John, we'll get back to you in a moment.
Dean, you played a great game. The thing of it is ever since John stepped onto our set, it's been his world and the rest of us have been living in it. On a different day with different questions, different opposition and perhaps even different cards, you'd be going for the jackpot.
However, all's not lost. You still keep the CY$2000 you won in the first round. There's more gifts for you backstage. Big hand for Dean Scungio everyone.

Doug: Well, John, you've won more than CY$200,000 plus the most expensive prize we've ever offered here in Studio 63. As we give our accountants a few extra doses of oxygen... (light laughter from the crowd) ...we're going to let you pick *two* letters in "POKER". If you find CY$5000 and CY$2000, we'll throw in a bonus of CY$3000 for a total payoff of CY$10,000. And still if that "TRIP" card appears above one of your selected letters, you win that Jamaican holiday. Pick two letters in "POKER" please.
John: The P and the R, please.
Doug: P and the R. First, we'll reveal those simultaneously.

Doug: Nope. (smooth jazz theme plays) But goodness knows John can afford a nice trip anywhere. An even 213-thou for John. When we come back, John's total winnings could exceed a quarter million -- before he even enters the Quarter Million Playoff. Find out if that happens after this.
