Doug: John Menjes won the first round. Joe Van Ginkel won the second round. Winner of this round gets a chance to play for CY$102,500. And given the amount of cyber-cash in the Outlaw's Jackpot, tonight's champ will also try to qualify for a berth in that Quarter Million Playoff.
Doug: Now this round works just like 5-Card Poker. Only difference is this deck of cards has two Jokers. If you get control of a Joker, you may use it for anything when your hand is complete. And when your hand's complete, if you have the better hand, you win 25 points.
I've been in remiss in noting this since we've instituted this rule. But, in this round, it's possible you can make five of a kind with help from at least one Joker. If you make a five of a kind or a natural royal flush, you get the car and CY$100,000.
Doug: So, gentlemen, good luck and let's check out the first two cards for this final round. D.J., what are they?
D.J.: (giggles) Joker. I'm tempted to make another ex-husband joke.
D.J.: Um, anyway, Jack of Hearts and Ace of Clubs.
Doug: Forgive her. The Dallas reunion show's rekindling some rotten memories for her. Anyway, first question in the round is a little long. So, good luck and play carefully...

Doug: Indeed, on the day of the silver anniversary of him winning the Kentucky Derby, Seattle Slew died. John, which Queen would you like?
John: I'll take the Queen of hearts, please.

Doug: Breaking up any hope of a royal flush for Joe. Deej, what are the next two cards?
D.J.: Huh boy, 10 of Hearts and 9 of Diamonds.
Doug: Well, either way, Joe would be 3/5 of the way toward a straight. Next 10-point question goes something like this...

Doug: Sure it would mean John would've had two Aces -- but three Jacks would overcome one or two pair of anything. Anything can still happen here as we bring in...
Doug: ...the blind cards. Question's worth 15 points. Joe, you must chime in and answer correctly to have a chance to win.

Doug: For anyone new to our show, if Joe managed to get the 25 points for the better hand, John would still have the higher score and the championship. That's why we're going ahead and applying the brakes on this round.
By the way, in the TV movie, Karl Malden played the part of the coach. His advice to the players -- "Sticks, don't leave home without them."
Doug: John, you'll play for CY$10,000 and the trip in a bit. First, let's go to the blind cards and see if they're both Jokers. If so, John and Joe will *split* 10-grand. Deej, let's see those cards.
D.J.: No Jokers. A 10 and King.
Doug: Oh, goodness. Joe, you would've had Ace high either way. John, you would've had either two 10s or a straight.
Joe, you played great. You were up against a tough player in John. And you're certainly not leaving here empty-handed. You're taking home two-grand. We have more gifts for you backstage. A nice hand for Joe Van Ginkel.
Doug: OK, John. Time now to pick *two* letters in "POKER". If you manage to find CY$5000 and CY$2000, you collect CY$3000 more for a total CY$10,000 payoff. In addition, if the "TRIP" card appears above one of your two selected letters, we're sending you to Negril, Jamaica. Good luck -- and pick a couple of letters.
John: I'll go for the O and the R, please.
Doug: O and R. OK, let's reveal those simultaneously.
