Doug: Thanks, Deej, and welcome players. One of you will move on to take on the Outlaw's Video Slot Challenge. Before we do that, we'll play Community Card Conundrum. Now, if you've ever seen any of those televised poker tournaments such as ESPN's coverage of the World Series of Poker or Bravo's Celebrity Poker Showdown -- or if you've actually played Hold 'Em Poker -- you'll have a good idea of how this goes.
Either way, best way to start explaining is to turn to the video screen and -- shuffle up and deal!
Doug: OK, our computer has dealt each of you two cards. At the bottom of the board are three community cards face down. When we reveal the cards face up, you'll combine the two cards you have with the three at the bottom to make a five-card hand. Now, here's your conundrum -- when we turn the community cards over, do you think you'll end up with the best hand? Yes or no? If you predict correctly, you'll either win or share in CY$1500.
We'll play this for two rounds. Player with the most cyber-cash after the second round goes on to the Outlaw's Video Slot Challenge.
Right now, please make your predictions as to whether or not you think you'll end up with the best hand.
(time passes) (buzz)
Doug: OK, didn't get an answer from Andy in time. We'll see if the others can split the 1500. Michael, we'll start with you.
Michael: Since I have the 9, I will say no.
Doug: A vote for no. Gus, what'cha say?
Gus: I'll guess "yes", I will.

Doug: One for no and one for yes. Let's turn over those community cards...
Doug: Oh dear. Looks like the polar opposite's happened. Michael, with your 9 and the two on the bottom, you've made three of a kind. Gus, your two pair loses to Michael. No one wins the CY$1500. But, I tell ya what. Let's give each of you CY$50...

Doug: ...and let's just roll the CY$1500 over to this second and final hand, OK? (audience applause) Now, since there is a chance of a tie after the second hand, we'll have a high card tie-breaker to determine who'll spin against the outlaw for a possible CY$20,000. Time once again to shuffle the cards.
Doug: Go figure. Michael's got the 9 of Spades again. Go ahead and make your predictions as to whether or not you'll end up with the best hand. And with Michael and Andy's Queen-9, there is a chance more than one player will end up with the best hand. Make your predictions.
(time passes)
Doug: OK. Everyone's locked in this time. Michael, you first.
Michael: I will still say no.
Doug: Doesn't have faith in Queen-9. Andy, what about you?
Andy: I'll say YES
Doug: Interesting. Gus, what's your feeling about your Ace-Jack?
Gus: I'll say "yes" again.
Doug: Two optimists and a pessimist here. Let's flip over those community cards.
Doug: Michael and Andy each with a pair of Queens. Gus has the best hand with a pair of Aces. He guessed right and so did Michael. We've got a tie!

Doug: Michael and Gus, you split the 3000 and we'll get to the tie-breaker in a bit. Andy, CY$100 for you. We'll see you and Andy G. in the Quarter Million Playoff. Meantime, Michael and Gus, let's break this tie.
Doug: We've hidden the Ace through 9 of Spades behind the numbers. You'll each pick a number. Higher card goes on to the Outlaw's Video Slot Challenge. So, if you draw a 9, you'll lose -- but an Ace will win the tie-breaker outright. Michael, you pick first.
Michael: 4
Doug: Number 4. What's there?
Doug: Queen of Spades. Gus, you'll need to draw either the King or Ace of Spades to advance to the Outlaw's Video Slot Challenge.
Gus: Ugh. I don't like my chances. I'll draw lucky number 3.
Doug: Yeah, the odd's are slightly worse than 50-50. Two cards win, three lose. If you do find one of the winners, you're playing against the outlaw. Otherwise, Michael goes on. What's there?
Doug: KING! Bet you like your odds now.

Doug: You found one of the winners and you're going to build on CY$1600 in the Outlaw's Video Slot Challenge. Michael, CY$1550's not a bad pay day. Thanks for playing.
