Doug: Meantime, as we prepare for 5-Card Poker, we've already had some history made. Stephen won the right to cut the cards by virtue of his second place finish in the previous round -- but has declined the invite to cut. That's a first in Net Poker history. We'll see if that works to your advantage, Stephen.
Players, we again have just the Ace through 9 of every suit in play. In a moment, we'll see the first two cards from the top of the deck come down the chute -- and I'll ask you a 10-point toss up question. If you chime in with the right answer, you win the 10 points and the choice of one of the two up cards for your poker hand. Keep in mind the card you decline automatically goes to your opponent's hand.
We'll keep playing like that until the two of you score a combined 40 points and you each have four cards in your hand. Then, we'll deal out the last pair of up cards face down -- and play a blind card question worth 15 points.
The player who ends up with the better 5-card hand wins 25 points. Higher scorer wins the round and the right to play against Andy in Joker Poker. Low scorer wins CY$10 for every point scored in this round and is eliminated from further play.
Stephen and Jay, good luck as we see the first two cards of the round.
D.J.: And they are...
D.J.: ...the Ace of Hearts and the Ace of Clubs.
Doug: Well, now we know why Stephen didn't want to cut the cards. This first question in this round has a visual clue. So, please take a look at the video screen...
