D.J.: Remember, once your second turn's over, you're stuck with it. You'll need to draw at least a pair of Queens or else we take 5 points away.

Doug: And remember, anytime you make a natural royal flush on Net Poker, we have a great prize package waiting for you in the parking lot. And the ghost of Jay Stewart clues us in.

(smooth jazz theme plays)

TGoJS: For your driving enjoyment, IT'S A BRAND NEW CAR! (audience cheers) The Jaguar XK8 Convertible. It comes with every factory option available plus this extra bonus -- CY$100,000 in the trunk!

Doug: And that would be the *other* way to get into the tournament of champions in this episode. Jay, since you have the lowest score, you go first. Pick five numbers and we'll roll on.

Jay: 2, 8, 10, 17, 19

Doug: OK. Let's reveal those numbers and see what they hide...

(FF reveal sfx)

Doug: ...not good news, Jay. A pair of Jacks. If you stopped here, you'd lose 5 points. So you might as well take that second turn.

Jay: I'll exchange all but the Queen

Doug: OK, the Jacks, 9 and Ace are discarded. Which four new numbers would you like?

Jay: 3, 13, 21, and 24 are what I'll take.

Doug: All righty. A pair of Queens and a pair of something else along with the Club Queen will give you a full boat and a tie. Three Queens or four of anything else means 125 points, four of a kind and the lead. Straight flush and royal flush are still possible. Let's see.

(FF reveal sfx)

Doug: And unfortunately, just a pair of ladies is possible.

Doug: Two Queens give you five points. Stephen, your turn at bat as we shuffle the cards.

(cards are shuffled on the video screen; after shuffling stops, the cards are covered immediately with the 24 numbers)

Doug: And now we await your five selections.

Stephen: 5,12,16,18,21

Doug: Okie doke. Let's see what hand you've made with those numbers.

(FF reveal sfx)

Doug: Just a pair of 10s -- worth negative-five if you stopped here. Again, you might as well take that second turn.

Stephen: ill keep 12 and 16 and take 6,19,22

Doug: OK, hanging on to the 10s. Again, full house or better is possible. That's what you need to stay in the round. Let's see what 6, 19, and 22 hide...

(FF reveal sfx) (groans from the crowd)

Doug: Yikes. Close to a full boat.

ANDY
STEPHEN
JAY

Doug: Two pair's worth 10 points. Andy, as you take command of the video screen...

(cards are shuffled on the video screen; after shuffling stops, the cards are covered immediately with the 24 numbers)

Doug: ...keep in mind the worst that could happen is you'd lose 5 points. If that should happen, you'd still be the leading player and still win the round. So... (holds up car keys) ...might as well go for the car and the royal flush.

Andy: I will take 2, 5, 10, 18, & 22

Doug: OK, let's see if those numbers give you a car. If not, let's see how close you are...

(FF reveal sfx)

Doug: ...ugly combination. Well, since the recipe for a royal flush doesn't call for 9s, I think it's safe to assume those 9s are going in the dumpster. You can hang on to the King and try to go for a royal in Hearts, hold the Jack and make a Club royal flush or keep the Ace and go for the royal in Diamonds. Then again, you can trash all five cards and go for a royal in Spades. It's up to you.

Andy: I will keep # 22, the ACE of Diamonds, and Dump the Rest.....

Doug: Going for the royal in Diamonds. OK, which numbers hide the 10 through King of Diamonds?

Andy: I will take 1, 8, 15 & 17

Doug: OK -- do 1, 8, 15 and 17 add up to a new car and CY$100,000?

(FF reveal sfx)

Doug: Nope. Just five points. But you still win the round.
