...17 people in our polling group knew Art Fleming originally hosted Jeopardy! As you might expect, most of the rest said "Alex Trebek". There were at least a couple who said "Trebek" -- and then about a half-second later said something to the effect of, "Whoops! Art Fleming." Like most game show, we take the first answer we hear. We had a few say "Bob Barker" and we even got a guess of "Ken Jennings".
Just kidding about Ken -- but at this rate, he's probably considered a sidekick.
