D.J.: You must draw at least a pair of Queens to win any points at all. Anything short of that means we take 5 points from your score and add them to the tip jar.

(audience laughs)

Doug: Will you stop. In addition, should anyone make a natural royal flush at any time, you win a might fine prize package worth lots of loot. Hazen's got the details.

Hazen: For your driving enjoyment, IT'S A BRAND NEW CAR! (audience cheers) (hard rock theme plays) The Jaguar XK8 Convertible. It comes with every factory option available plus this extra bonus -- CY$100,000 in the trunk!

Doug: And Chico, you're guaranteed to win all that if you win this, your third game. Before you pick five numbers, we always give our champions on the verge of winning three straight a chance to say hello to anyone.

Chico: Alrighty. Well, big shouts to my family, especially my mom who can't be here right now. She'll be back, though. All my friends at UNC, all my friends who just graduated, Gordon, my partner over at Gameshownewsnet.com (see how I just slid that in). Oh, and Kathleen... Love ya, sweetie.

Doug: And good luck to you and your opponents the rest of the way. Now, five numbers, please.

Chico: Hmm... 8, 15, 22, 1, and 23

Doug: Hmmm, got some sort of diagonal thing going. Let's see what happens...

(FF reveal sfx)

Doug: ...well, a pair of Kings. That's worth 5 if you stopped here -- but you'd have to hope Michael and Andy each lose five to make it a three-way tie-breaker. If you traded one of the Kings for a Queen, you'd have a 20-point straight. So, what's your pleasure?

Chico: Let's drop 8 and go next door to 7.

Doug: Saying bye-bye to the King of Diamonds and hello to what?

(FF reveal sfx) (Trivia Trap sfx)

Doug: Well, it's more of a goodbye -- to 5 points.

CHICO
ANDY
MICHAEL

Doug: Don't fret, there's another round to come. You'll have to win both of them or make a natural royal flush in one of them to get in our Quarter Million Playoff. Now, we'll just go down the line to Andy as we shuffle the cards...

(cards are shuffled on the video screen; after shuffling stops, the cards are covered immediately with the 24 numbers)

Doug: ...and now we await your five selections.

Andy: Its great to be back on the show again ! I will take 2, 5, 10, 11, and 18

Doug: And let's see how ya did with those numbers...

(FF reveal sfx)

Doug: ...will, a similar circumstance Chico was in earlier. You'd have 5 points if you stopped here. The Aces alone are worth 5. And if you successfully trade in an Ace for a Jack, that's a straight. What's your pleasure?

Andy: I will keep the pair of aces, and ditch 2, 10 & 18 .......

Doug: OK, you're assured of at least 5 points. What's joining the Aces?

Andy: Lets replace those with 8, 15 and 22

Doug: 8, 15 and 22 give you...

(FF reveal sfx)

Doug: ...not much of a return on investment.

CHICO
ANDY
MICHAEL

Doug: Your Video Poker index only goes up 5 points to close at 35. Michael, time to shuffle the cards...

(cards are shuffled on the video screen; after shuffling stops, the cards are covered immediately with the 24 numbers)

Doug: ...and we're set. If you score just 5, you and Andy play Dice Poker to break the tie. Any combination worth more than 5 points and you win the round. A loss of 5 points means Andy wins. With that in mind, draw 5 cards and we'll continue.

Michael: Before I make my choices, I just want to say, "Hi Deej! Welcome back! I missed you! It wasn't the same without you! Tiki really sucked!"

(audience laughs)

Doug: Oh, come on, now. She looks like Salma Hayek. Ya gotta like that. Anyhoo, go ahead and pick.

Michael: My choices are 2, 10, 8, 20, & 6.

Doug: And let's see what those numbers give you...

(FF reveal sfx)

Doug: ...well *again*, we are flirting with making a straight. This time, Michael, if you stopped here, I'd have to dock ya 5 points and give the win to Andy -- and I don't think you want that. If you traded the 9 or Ace for a Queen, that's a straight and a win. Of course, at least a pair of Queens clinches a tie. Which way do you go, Michael?

Michael: First off, I don't like Salma Hayek, except when she was in "From Dusk 'Til Dawn" or when she does a nude scene. ;)

(audience laughs)

(more laughs)

Doug: LOL! I wondered when they'd do that. Anyhoo, Michael, what's your pleasure?

Michael: I am going for the straight. I will change the 9 of spades with Card 3.

Doug: OK, Michael, if there's a Queen behind 3, you win. If it's a King or Ace, it's Dice Poker time. Otherwise, Andy's the victor. What's there?

(FF reveal sfx) (Trivia Trap sfx)

Doug: A 10 for just a pair of 10s. Andy's the winner.
