Deuces Wild Poker Doug: And we're back with more of Net Poker. Coming up after Andy plays the endgame, we'll play our audience game and hopefully give away that CY$10,000 fishbowl. For now, Andy, since this is your first visit to the land of the wild Deuces, let me explain how we play this.

Doug: We've randomly hidden ten outlaw cards on the video screen. There's one outlaw on the top row, two on the second row, three on the third and four on the bottom row. In a moment, you'll pick one number from each row. Each time you do not run into an outlaw, you win a Deuce. As the name of the endgame implies, Deuces are wild. That means you can use them for anything when your five-card hand is complete. The more Deuces you have, the better the chances you'll win CY$20,000 for a royal flush.
Doug: Oh, but wait, there's more. *MUCH* more. Andy, if you can win all four Deuces and avoid all ten outlaws, we'll forget all about building a poker hand and instead give you all the contents of the outlaw's jackpot -- which is at CY$82,500.

Doug: Good luck, Andy, we're all with you now. Let's start at the top row. Numbers 1 through 6. Only one outlaw there. Avoid the outlaw and you win the Deuce of Spades.
Andy: I will take 5.
Doug: Number 5. Does he win his first Deuce?
![]()
Doug: He does. Good start, Andy.

Doug: One Deuce down, three to go. Next row. Numbers 7 through 12. We have two outlaws. Don't draw an outlaw card and we give you the Deuce of Hearts.
Andy: I will take 10.
Doug: Number 10. Does he get another wild card?

(outlaw says "YEEEEE-hawwww!") (audience groans)
Doug: Nope. Sorry. Well, you still have one wild card. Let's try and better the odds of winning big, here. Third row. Numbers 13 through 18. Three outlaws are on that row. If you don't run into an outlaw on this row, D.J. will give you the Deuce of Clubs.
Andy: I will take 18.
Doug: Number 18. Come on. Let's give him another Deuce.

(outlaw says "YEEEEE-hawwww!") (more groans)
Doug: Ugh! Andy! Just one Deuce won so far. Let's go to that last row. It's the toughest of all with four outlaws. Numbers 19 through 24. Pick one of the two good ones and you win the Deuce of Diamonds. Come on, Andy. Let's make it a good one.
Andy: I will take 22.
Doug: All right, 22. Let's hope for no outlaw.

(outlaw says "YEEEEE-hawwww!") (loud groans)
Doug: Ouch. Huh boy. Well, let's reveal where the other outlaws were.
![]()
Andy: Boy, those Outlaws sure got me !
Doug: Indeed they were on a rampage. Well, Andy, I sure hope you gave those cards a *really* good cut. With that and four good selections you can still win some nice amount of cyber-coin and here's what we're going to do. During the break, we had you cut a deck of cards for building that poker hand.
Doug: And there are the first two cards from that deck you cut. Much like with the main game, you'll pick one of the two cards to add to your hand. The card you decline gets discarded. We'll repeat this process three more times and by then your hand will be complete.

Doug: As you can see if you get a royal flush, you win CY$20,000. A natural four of a kind with the Deuce gives you five of a kind for CY$10,000. Right now, Andy, it's time to draw your first natural card. Will it be the left or right?
Andy: Lets try to win some $$$ here. Lets try the Left Card.
Doug: Left card it is. Deej, what's there?
Doug: Queen of Hearts. A vital ingredient for a flush royale.

Doug: OK, we'll lose that right card and bring two new cards in.
Doug: And there they are. Left or right?
Andy: Lets to Right Card this time.
Doug: The right. If it's a face card, 10 or Ace of Hearts, you're still on pace for 20-grand.
D.J.: Another Queen.
Doug: Well, no hope for a royal flush. However...

Doug: ...you're assured of CY$500 with three of a kind. And who knows, maybe you can make five of a kind.
Doug: There's the next pair, Andy. Let's hope one of them's a Queen.
Andy: Lets go back to the Left Card
Doug: You heard the man. Let's see the left card, Deej.
D.J.: *Another* Queen.
Doug: Wow! Andy. This may not be a full 180-degree turnaround...

Doug: ...but to win CY$2000 with just one wild card is saying something. Now, this would really *scream* something if among this last pair... (no cards come down the chute) ...um, Earl?
Doug: Thank you. As I was saying, this would really *scream* something if among this last pair is the Queen of Spades and you draw it. Good luck, Andy, and let's see if you can make CY$10,000 for five of a kind.
Andy: Lets hope it is something good..... That 5 of a Kind would be Great ! I will take the Right Card.
Doug: If that right card is a Queen of Spades, you'll have pulled off a stunner and won CY$10,000. Deej?
