Video Poker

Doug: Well done, Michael. You take the lead. Chico, as you take command of the video screen...

(cards are shuffled on the video screen; after shuffling stops, the cards are covered immediately with the 24 numbers)

Doug: ...a straight will put you in a tie with Michael and then we'd play Dice Poker to break the tie. A flush or better sends you to the championship round of Joker Poker.

Chico: Okay. Time to go with the mojo here... 5, 11, 9, 24, and 18.

Doug: MoJo? You know Melissa Johnson, too? (audience laughs) She's one of my co-workers -- goes by that nickname. Anyhoo, let's see what ya got..

(FF reveal sfx)

Doug: Well, interesting. This hand's worth just 5 points. If you replaced an Ace with a 10, you'd have a straight and we'd roll the dice for the tie-breaker. A flush or better wins the round and you've got two Clubs and two Spades if you want to go for the flush. Either way you go, it's a tough decision. What do you do?

Chico: I think I'll play to tie here. Replace the A-clubs with... 19.

Doug: OK. Going for the tie. Is a 10 behind 19?

(FF reveal sfx) (Trivia Trap sfx) (audience groans)

Doug: Ooooh! Close. Michael, you win the round.

Doug: Well, Michael, the full house worked. Now, let's see how much you'll win...

Doug: ...behind the letters in the word "POKER" are various amounts of cyber-cash. Lowest amount is CY$500 and the highest is CY$5000. Pick a letter and you'll instantly receive what's behind your chosen letter.

Michael: I'll take the K.

Doug: K it is. And you've won...

(bing) Doug: ...well just the bare minimum. CY$500.
