Doug: ...Five-Card Poker. Robert, since you finished in second place, you got to cut the cards during the break. Once again, we're only playing with the Aces, 10s, 9s and face cards of each of the four suits.
D.J. will show us the first two cards of the deck and then I'll give you a 10-point toss up question. Chime in with the correct answer and you win the 10 points plus the right to select one of the two cards to add to your hand. The card you turn down goes to your opponent.
Then, D.J. will show us the next two cards from the deck and play continues until each of you have four cards.
To complete your hands, D.J. will display the next two cards face down and then we play a "blind card" toss up question worth 15 points and the chance to select either the left or the right card. We'll then turn the blind cards face up and the player with the better hand wins 25 more points. High scorer at the end of this round goes on to Joker Poker while the other is eliminated from further play.
So, Deej, show us the first two cards, please.
D.J.: OK, the King of Hearts and the 10 of Diamonds.
Doug: And here's the first question in the round, guys, good luck...
