Doug: OK, after 5 questions, Tom's in the lead, Noiel and Robert are tied for second. Before we wrap up this round, let's meet our players starting with Noiel.
Noiel: I live in Wenatchee, Washington where I am a houseperson at a local hotel. I enjoy watching game shows, acting, and singing karaoke.
Doug: Ahhh... you have something in common with our hostess. Deej likes the karaoke. Especially after a few adult beverages.

Robert: I'm a high school student, and I love to watch wrestling.
Doug: Wrestling. Say, WWE Unleashed is coming back to South Mississippi next month.
D.J.: Yeah, don't remind me.
Doug: Why?
D.J.: I applied to be a round card girl and they turned me down.
Doug: Lemme guess. Bypassed for some 20-something.
D.J.: Yeah. But, hey, if they want to go for someone inexperienced, fine with me.
Doug: The crowd's with you Deej. Players, it's time to take you to the video poker screen and here's what's up. Deej?

D.J.: OK. Players, behind the numbers, we have playing cards -- Ace through 9 of each of the four suits. You'll each take two turns at the screen. On your first turn, you'll pick five numbers and we'll reveal the cards behind your selections. If you're satisfied with that hand, end your possession and pass it on to the next player. If you think you can do better, you may trade in any or all of your cards for new ones. On your second turn, you're stuck with whatever you drew.

D.J.: Remember, you need to draw at least a pair of Queens to win any additional points. If you end up with a pair of Jacks, 10s or 9s or have no other combination listed here, you'll lose 5 points.

Doug: ...looks like a pair of Aces and a pair of Queens. Two pair is worth 10 points. If you stopped here, you'd be 10 points shy of a three-way tie. Remember, Tom gets a turn at-bat when your turn is over. Think you can do better? (holds up car keys) Remember, we've got a Jaguar for the royal flush.
