(FF reveal sfx)

Scarlett: They were involved in the final scene of the TV series "Star Trek: The Next Generation".

Doug: Oh *now* the scribes get wordy. (light laughter from the crowd) They were involved in the final scene of the TV series "Star Trek: The Next Generation". Michael, please tell me who gets the honor of giving away the first letter of this final round.

Michael: I will take a chance and have Andy give away the first letter to me.

Doug: All right, Andy, ball's in your court. Give away a letter you do not want.

Andy: I'll give the X.

Doug: There's no X. You may take a letter.

Andy: I'll take Mr. T's favorite letter -- T.

Doug: There are two T's.

(ding)

Doug: You have a chance to win the tournament right now. A correct solution will bring your total winnings to CY$1,203,500.

Andy: All I can come up with is -- The Captain and a Neil.

(drum roll)

Doug: If "The Captain and a Neil" is right, you win the million. Is it "The Captain and a Neil"?

Michael: Doug, don't pull that Meredith Vieira shtick on me. (audience laughs)

Doug: We gotta throw in the dramatic effect. Is it "the captain and a deal"?

(dings; alarm sounds; audience cheers; mega win music plays)

MICHAEL
ANDY

(confetti cannons fire; balloons fall)

Doug: Congratulations, Michael. The captain, as in Jean-Luc Picard, and a deal, as in one of the preliminary actions of a hand of poker, were involved in the final scene of "Star Trek: The Next Generation".

Members of the Enterprise crew had a weekly poker game and the captain joined in during the final scene.

We'll crunch some big numbers in a bit. But first, a big hand for these two players. They deserve it.

(audience cheers)

Doug: Andy, a great game. The CY$1500 becomes a quarter million.

MICHAEL
ANDY

(cheering continues)

Doug: Add that to your prior winnings from this tournament and your regular games and you have CY$453,500.

(more cheers)

Doug: Michael, let's turn that 2000 into a million.

MICHAEL
ANDY

(louder cheers)

Doug: Add that to the tournament score that got you here and your winning from earlier tonight, you have yourself a grand total of CY$1,256,750.

(more cheers) (theme plays)

Doug: And the winning for them is not over yet. Andy's going to play A to Z. We'll also have the check presentation for Michael plus a chance to win much more as we wrap up our Net Definition Mega Playoff.

(more cheers)
