Finals Round 6

Doug: Welcome back to the Net Definition Mega Playoff. It's been nip and tuck in the finals. Let's recap the scores.

MICHAEL
ANDY

Doug: Andy Silikovitz has CY$1500. Michael's trailing with CY$1000. Every round in the tournament has been worth CY$500 and the goal in the finals is CY$2000.

Simply put, if Andy wins this next round, he wins the million. If Michael wins this next round, we'll be tied at 1500 and then Michael will decide who'll go first since he forced the deciding round of the game.

Now, since Andy won Round 5, Michael will start Round 6. Good luck to you both and play carefully as we move on to our next definition.

(FF reveal sfx)

Scarlett: A cannibal.

Doug: Obviously we're not paying the scribes by the word. A lot of short definitions tonight in the finals. A cannibal. Michael, give away a letter.

Michael: I'm behind, but I know I can do this. I just have to follow the advice dyslexic Casey Kasem told me before the show: "Keep your feet on the stars and keep reaching for the ground."

(light laughter from the crowd)

Michael: I will give away the Q.

Doug: Um, no Q. And no stars, either, or else we'd give you those for free. Now take a letter.

Michael: I'll take the E.

Doug: There are two E's.

(ding)

Doug: There they are. A right answer not only ties the score but gives you the right to make a choice ahead of Round 7. Do you know a cannibal?

Michael: Well, congratulations Andy for winning the game.

(audience laughs)

Michael: I have a guess, but it might be wrong. Could the answer be AUNT EATER?

Doug: Michael...

MICHAEL

Doug: Well well well. We're down to the final round of the tournament. Now this is where a feature from our regular Net Definition games kicks in.

Michael, since you forced the deciding round of the game, we'll give you and Andy the definition -- but then you'll decide if you give the first letter away of the round to Andy -- or Andy gives you the first letter of the round.

The winner of the round wins the tournament and the million. Runner-up gets a cool quarter million. Let's go to Scarlett for the mega championship definition.
