Round 2

(new car music plays)

Scarlett: One of the prizes at stake on the winner's board tonight is A BRAND NEW CAR!

(audience cheers)

Scarlett: It's the Chevrolet Camaro -- a classic muscle car built for the here and now. Comes with a 3.6L, V6 engine -- plus automatic transmission, four-wheel independent suspension, four-wheel disc brakes, six-disc CD changer, 1000-watt sound system and much, much more. A terrific prize worth CY$37,300.

(audience cheers)

Scarlett: And now, back to Doug Morris and Net Definition.

Doug: Terrific prize indeed, Scarlett. Thanks. And remember, if anyone can win the first three rounds of the game, winning that car will be much easier.

Before we resume the game, let's meet our players -- starting with the champ.

Robert: I'm Robert McBride, still your Game Show Kingdom head referee.

Doug: And still doing a great job there. Get anything for the holidays?

Robert: I didn't get any Christmas gifts, but I will get at least one present come my 25th birthday on the 26th.

Doug: Ah -- well maybe Cat Deeley will jump out of *your* cake. (audience laughs) Andy, our challenger and big winner from last season's tournament of champions. Remind the folks about yourself.

Andy: I'm Andy Silikovitz, 42 and single from West Orange, New Jersey -- where I've lived for thirty-five years. I work as a Torah reader in Montclair, New Jersey. Earlier this month, one of my cats, Klein, had to be put down. He was almost 6.5 years old.

(audience groans)

Doug: Sorry to hear that. We'll think of you and your family. Speaking of family, any gifts?

Andy: Nothing great from my parents I won two tickets from a radio station to see Prince at Madison Square Garden on January 18.

Doug: Ah, well that's a nice gift. Hope you have fun.

ROBERT
ANDY

Doug: Let's get back to our game. Andy's leading CY$250 to nothing. Robert's going to have first crack at the CY$500 definition.

(FF reveal sfx)

Scarlett: Some basketball fans do this.

Doug: Some basketball fans do this. Robert, give away a letter, please.

Robert: Give the Q.

Doug: (shakes head and sighs) Ya know -- that's normally a great letter to give away.

(ding) (a few gasps and groans from the crowd)

Doug: But a Q is at the end of the answer. Andy, it's a free guess. If you're right, you've cleared the second hurdle toward a sweep. If not, you could still, at least give a letter to Robert. Definition again -- some basketball fans do this.

Andy: Love Shaq.

Doug: Indeed, some basketball fans love Shaq.

(dings; audience applause)

Doug: Nowadays, a lot of Boston Celtics fans love Shaquille O'Neal. Probably not so much when he was a Laker.

ROBERT
ANDY

Doug: Well, Andy leads 750 to nothing. Robert, just keep the faith. If you can win this round, you'll have an advantage going into the fourth and deciding round.

This next round is worth CY$750. Robert's going for the tie, Andy's going for the sweep. Here's the next definition.
