Scarlett Gray: From CDM Enterprises, Net Definition. A good place to buy a car.
Scarlett: Solution...
Scarlett: ...and our solution to fun with the pun on VBS is Net Definition. And now, here's the man ready to give away a car -- our host, Doug Morris!
Doug: Thank you, Scarlett Gray, and welcome to a new season of Net Definition. We've added some new elements to our game -- including a new winner's board where a contestant could win CY$25,000 or a brand new car.
Doug: Before we meet our contestants, could someone get a shot of Scarlett at the announcer's booth.
(audience cheers) (Scarlett waves to crowd)
Scarlett: Hey there.
Doug: Scarlett, you're doing a great job here and our other shows.
Scarlett: Well, thank you.
Doug: And I gotta tell you the fan mail for you is really piling up.
Scarlett: Really?
Doug: It must mean our viewers are coming down with a case of -- Scarlett fever.
Scarlett: I was *wondering* when I'd fall victim to a pun.
ANSON ROBERT Doug: Well, let's hope our contestants don't fall victim to the puns. Our players tonight are Anson Grimes and Robert McBride.
Doug: We'll chat later -- but let's get you into the game and Round 1.
Doug: To refresh your memory, it's worth CY$250. The next is worth CY$500. Then we play for CY$750 in the third round. And if we need it, the fourth round is worth CY$1250. A game is CY$1500 -- and the player who reaches that score first wins the game, a chance to take on the winner's board -- and then plays the A to Z Round for CY$50,000.
Doug: And as before, if you sweep the first three rounds of the game, that's an automatic win for CY$1500 -- and then we'll let you play a doubleheader of A to Z for a possible CY$100,000.
Doug: Best of luck to you both. Let's get to our first definition of the game.
