After a decent rest, Net Definition is back. Before we start, a few notes...

\ This is Game 16 -- so if you played in Game 13, 14, or 15, please sit on your hands and let someone else in on the fun with the pun.

\ Also, this will be our first episode since the Mega Playoff. I respectfully ask all four contestants who played in the tournament to also sit on their hands in a further effort to spread the virtual wealth.

\ We have a new wrinkle to Net Definition -- the winner's board. Before everyone automatically assumes "out of place bonus round", it's really a mini-bonus round prior to the A to Z bonus game. (If you've seen the Joker side-game on The New Net Poker, essentially the same idea here.)

...the winner's board is made up of 12 boxes...

...behind seven of the boxes are bonus prizes -- most of which are cyber-cash. The remaining five boxes hide representational portions of two major prizes -- a virtual new car and CY$25,000.

The ten grand is represented by two halves of a CY$25,000 bill. The car is represented by the letters "C", "A" and "R". Should the main game's winner find half of the bill or a letter in "CAR", (s)he gets to pick again. Finding both halves of the CY$25,000 bill, all three letters in "CAR" or one of the non-major prizes ends the trip at the winner's board.

Nine prizes will always be on the winner's board, regardless of what happened on a previous episode. (If you're confused, feel free to ask -- or just watch and learn when we cross this bridge in an episode. Usually, it's the latter that works out in the end.)

OK, with all that out of the way, let's start qualifying. We have, obviously, no returning champion. So the two closes to the right answer, high or low, get to play.

On February 13, 2010, at 12:30pm Central, we watched a GSN rerun of "The Newlywed Game" during a pre-Valentine's Day marathon. This particular episode came from Carnie Wilson's second season as host. How many points were scored by the three couples in this half-hour episode? Please respond to the nearest multiple of 5 points.

(time passes)

All right, before we release the results, word has come Carnie's leaving the show. I don't watch many relationship games. But from what I saw, Carnie took great care of TNG. Here's wishing her best of luck in her next adventure.

As for the right answer...

(ding)

...the newlyweds combined for 155 points. Who's the closest?

Anson Grimes	130

All right, new player in Anson. Always great to welcome aboard new players. Anson, you'll be the designated champ and will be challenged by...

Robert McBride 110

...Robert, who was with us in Game 12 and waited plenty. Net Definition's next.
