(audience laughs) (men in the audience hoot and holler)
Rich: ...and our solution to fun with the pun on VBS is Net Definition. Now, here with our first pun up for bids -- our host, Doug Morris!
(audience cheers)
Doug: Thank you, Rich -- and hellooooooooo, everybody. Welcome to Net Definition -- where big groaners can mean big payoffs. Let's welcome back our champion; with one win and CY$31,500, here's Jay Cross.
JAY SHAWN (audience cheers)
Doug: Playing against Jay is Shawn Wells.
(audience cheers)
Doug: We'll chat later -- but let's get into the game now. In Net Definition, our players take turns giving away letters to their opponents -- and then taking them for themselves.
When a player's turn starts, he'll give one letter away to the opposition. As long as he doesn't give away a letter that appears in the answer, he maintains control and then takes one for himself.
When a letter in the answer is exposed, the player who was given or has taken the letter gets a chance to guess. A correct solution wins the round and some cyber-money.
