CY$750 Round

(FF reveal sfx)

Rich: A fan of the classics.

Doug: A fan of the classics. All right, Will. We again start with you. Give a letter away you don't want.

Will: I'll give away a zed.

Doug: No zed. No Z either. Take a letter you think will help you.

Will: I will take an A, and hopefully this will give it to me.

Doug: I think there's at least one A.

(ding)

Doug: In fact, exactly one A. This is to tie the game and stay in business. A fan of the classics.

Will: Well, I think I might be cleaning out my pantyhose drawer, because I have no idea on this one.

(light laughter from the crowd) (buzz buzz)

Doug: If he does sweep ya, I thank you in advance for being a great sport about this. Andy, your turn.

Andy: Let's give the Q.

Doug: Q's a good choice. Take a letter.

Andy: I'll take the T.

Doug: Believe it or not, folks. *No* T. Will, back to you.

Will: Let's give away an X.

Doug: X is a good choice. Take a letter.

Will: I will take an R.

Doug: Take two R's while you're at it.

(ding)

Doug: With an A and two R's, can you tie the score? A fan of the classics.

Will: I don't have much of an idea on this one.

(buzz buzz)

Doug: All right. Control goes back to Andy.

Andy: I'll give the J.

Doug: No J. Take a letter

Andy: I'll take the E.

Doug: Have a look.

(ding)

Doug: *Four* E's. A correct answer makes you our first undefeated champion. A fan of the classics.

Andy: I don't quite know it yet.

(buzz buzz)

Doug: Very well. Will, control's back in your court.

Will: I will give away a W.

Doug: No W. Now take a letter.

Will: For myself, I will take an O.

Doug: I think there's just the one.

(ding)

Doug: Indeed, there's just the one O. Another chance to tie the ballgame. A fan of the classics.

Will: I'm gonna try to solve this.

Doug: Go ahead.

Will: HE LIKES OPERA VERDI MUCH

Doug: Dude, you don't to have to shout. I'm right here. (audience laughs) And you're right, he *does* like opera Verdi much.

(ding) (audience applause)

Doug: And I have to give a call to my *current* and great co-worker at Rock 104, Andy Webb, for the inspiration for that. A caricature artist drew a picture of him with a t-shirt that read "I like opera Verdi much". And it is true -- Andy likes opera and his brother recently performed in one.

(theme plays)

Doug: Suddenly, folks, we have a ballgame. One round decides our winner. Is Andy Silikovitz going to win it all -- or is Will Schmarder going to finish a huge comeback? You come back -- and get the answer.

(audience applause)
