Episode 3 Game 2

(rolling sfx)

Doug: Ready when you are.

(bing)

Doug: Starting with a 1.

(bing)

Doug: Another 1. Third 1 for a tie?

(bing) (audience groans)

Doug: No -- a 4.

EDDIE

MICHAEL

(ding)

Doug: All right -- 75 to 56 in Eddie's favor. On to music.

Single digit question: A Spanish guitar has how many tuning pegs?

(Eddie buzzes in)

Doug: Eddie.

Eddie: 6, I believe.

Doug: Is he believing correctly with 6?

(ding; audience applause)

Doug: Yes he is. Eddie, a triple or 13 in any combination will win you another game.

(rolling sfx)

Doug: Dice are in motion -- ready when you are.

(bing)

Doug: Starting with a 6.

(bing)

Doug: Following with a 5. A 2 wins it.

(bing)

Doug: And 4 for --

(stage hand shouts out "GINOBILI!") (audience laughs and applauds)

Doug: For those who don't get the joke, Manu Ginobili wears number 20 for the San Antonio Spurs -- and recently celebrated a birthday. And that combination of 6, 5 and 4 that Eddie just rolled is worth -- 20 points.

So, Eddie, with that clarified, would you like 20 points or another roll? Right now, you're leading 75 to 50.

Eddie: Hmmm... I could try for the win -- but I think I'll keep the 20.

(mix of applause and groans from the crowd)

Doug: *Your* decision, Eddie -- not theirs.

EDDIE

MICHAEL

(ding)

Doug: Eddie with 95, Michael with 56. Either player can still win the game on one question. Perhaps this will be the clincher.

Single digit question: The last U.S. President to sport facial hair has, including repeats, how many letters in his last name?

(Michael buzzes in)

Doug: Michael.

Michael: Taft was that president, so the answer is 4 letters.

Doug: All right -- is he at least right about 4 letters?

(ding; audience applause)

Doug: Yes -- and you were right about William Howard Taft.

(rolling sfx)

Doug: Dice are rolling, Michael. Another Crag makes you a winner.

(bing)

Doug: There's a 2.

(bing)

Doug: There's a second 2.

(bing)

Doug: And there's a third 2. Well -- Michael -- you have an interesting decision to make. The triple is worth 25 points if you stop here -- and, right now, Eddie leads 95 to 56.

You could take the 25 points and we'll move on to a new question -- or you could reroll and try to get a better combination.

(WGYN theme plays)

Doug: You've got a tough decision to make -- and we're going to let you think it over -- during this break.

(audience applause)
