Audience Game All right, gang, one more audience game before we call this an episode. The closest to the right answer, high or low, gets to play Odd or Even for possibly more than CY$7000 in prizes. Here's the question.
Before the second Super Crag of this episode, Dirty Harry rolled three money dice. The numbers 1 through 6 on each cube were replaced with, respectively, a penny, a nickel, a dime, a quarter, a half dollar and a dollar. What is the sum of the single roll of the three dice? Please make sure your answer is lower than $3.01 and higher than 2¢.
Let's make the answers due Tuesday at 10:00pm EDT/9:00pm CDT.
(time passes)
And time's up. Let's take a look at Harry's roll

Two half dollars and a penny add up to $1.01. Who came the closest to $1.01?
Bill Chase $1.10
Bill with a buck ten plays an audience game -- after this.

(prize music plays)
Doug: Welcome back. We're a little short on time. Bill Chase won the right to play for one of two prizes. Here's one prize you're playing for.
Scarlett: Bill, you could a Dirty Harry watch. (mix of groans and laughter from the crowd) That's right, our dastardly dice roller from Sic Bo gives you the current time and even his patented dirty looks. Perfect for when you're running late to work -- or even to the casino where he works as a pit boss.
Doug: Yeah, that's an odd prize. So here's an even better prize to shoot for.
Scarlett: Get ready to tell time in style with these Rolex watches. (audience cheers) These his and hers 18-karat white gold watches are worth CY$7400.
(music fades)
Doug: Yeah, I think you'd rather have the Rolex watches than Harry's watch. You'll win one of them playing Odd or Even.

Doug: Here's how it works. You'll roll all three dice just like Eddie did earlier in the Super Crag. Thankfully, no gremlins to deal with here.
If the three dice add up to an odd-numbered sum, you win a letter in the word "odd". If, however, the sum reaches an even total, you win a letter in "even". The game ends when you win all the letters in "odd" or "even".
Win four letters in "even" and you pick up the Rolex watches. Win the three letters in "odd" -- and -- well -- (a few laughs from the crowd) -- would that you end up with the even sums.
Good luck, Bill and give 'em a roll.
Bill: Come on evens!!!!
(Bill shakes up bucket; pours dice down ramp)

Doug: And a good start -- all even numbers -- so of course, they'll come out to an even total -- 12, as a matter of fact.

Doug: A 6, a 3 and another 3. Sweet. Another total of 12. Let's give the man a V, please.

Doug: You're making this as easy at 1, 2, 3, Bill. These numbers total 6. That's another even sum.

Doug: Watches worth CY$7400 are yours, Bill Chase. Thanks for playing. 'Til next time -- make it a great day -- keep the faith -- and treasure your loved ones.
(audience applause; credits roll; WGYN theme plays)
[NOTE FROM DOUG: As announced earlier, the netgames group on Yahoo! is closing its doors at year's end. The next episode of Net Crag will be the finale in its current form. Eddie Timanus will play against one challenger -- and they'll play just one main game.
The winner of that main game will play the CY$1,000,000 version of Super Crag. The runner-up will play Super Crag as if (s)he won three straight games -- meaning a head start of half way to the goal.
Thanks for your support.]
