Audience Game All right, good news and bad news.
Good news, we'll be playing two audience games to wrap up this episode.
Bad news, due to time constraints, they'll have to be *real* quick -- a truncated version of The Jackpot Game followed by a game we call Easy As Pi.
So this qualifying round will be for both audience games. The player closest to the right answer, high or low, plays The Jackpot Game; next closest, Easy As Pi.
This question is open to those who didn't play the main games and the first audience game of the episode....
While we were away, we helped Greg "Greggo" Wicker with the anime-themed game shows he hosted at the fifth annual San Japan convention in San Antonio, Texas. In preparing for Anime Farkle, we played a quick round of the Anime Tic Tac Dough bonus round -- with Greggo revealing numbers from the audience's picks of numbers. How much yen was accrued before -- spoiler alert -- the dragon was found, resulting in a loss?
Please respond in increments of ¥50 and make sure your answer is lower than ¥1000.
(time passes)
And we're done. A few of you guessed the maximum ¥950. Others guessed ¥0 -- meaning you think we found the dragon right off the bat or found TIC or TAC first and then that green monster.
Anyhoo, how much did we rack up before the bad news?

Joseph Bohan ¥650It's Joseph Bohan. Sorry, Michael. Tell ya what. We'll give you CY$650 as a consolation prize. Never too early to get into the holiday spirit.
Dom and Joseph, your respective audience games are coming up.

Only VBS! ======================================================================Doug: We have time for two *real* quick audience games. Scarlett, fetch me a player, please.
Scarlett: Dom Falance, come on up! (audience cheers) It's your chance to win big on Hot Dice.
Doug: Dom, welcome. Before you play this abbreviated version of The Jackpot Game, let's see what you're playing for.
Scarlett: Tonight in the jackpot, we're still proving good things really do come in threes. It started with three crisp new CY$100 bills. Then we added three checks worth CY$1000 each and three money bags filled with CY$10,000 each. That's CY$33,300. Since the jackpot was unclaimed on the last show, we're adding CY$3000 to it -- and we'll keep adding CY$3000 per episode until it's won. That makes our jackpot currently worth CY$36,300.

Doug: Thanks, Scarlett. CY$36,300 -- a great stocking stuffer can be yours instantly. Now we don't have time to play the full card game. So here's how you can win the jackpot.
We've randomly hidden a wild card behind one of the letters in the word "JACKPOT". The others hide cards from a standard deck.
You'll have two chances to find the wild card. If you find it, you'll go wild because you'll win the CY$36,300. Find any other card and the payoff is the number on the card times CY$250. Each face card counts as 10 or CY$2500. Each Ace is worth 20 in this game -- or CY$5000.
(scattered cheers)
Doug: So, pick your first letter, please.
Dom: Pick a letter? "K". ;)
Doug: I take it you're picking the letter K. OK, let's see what's behind K.

Doug: No wild card -- but a nice 9 for CY$2250. Now you may stop and keep the CY$2250 -- or give it up for one more pick. If you find the wild card, you still win the jackpot. But it's possible to draw a lower ranked card and, thus, win less than CY$2250.
What do you do?
(audience shouts suggestions)
Dom: We're going. T please.
Doug: All right, the 2250 comes back to us. Is the wild card behind T?

Doug: No -- and you traded down to CY$1500. Sorry about that. Where was the wild card?

Doug: Wow -- close. The letter P would've won you CY$36,300. Well, that means a lucky audience member plays for CY$39,300 on our next show.
Dom, as for you, CY$1500 and our thanks for playing.
