Audience Game All right, we've got three audience games on the docket. This is the first of three. We'll play the other two after the second Bonus Bonanza.
The player who comes closest to the right answer to this qualifying question, high or low, gets to play Higher and Higher for stakes that gradually increase -- well -- higher and higher. We'll explain after the question. Here's said question.
On March 27, 2011, at 1:30pm Central, we watched a rerun of "Lingo", hosted by Chuck Woolery, on GSN. The two teams scored a total of how many points in this episode? Please respond in increments of 25 points.
(time passes)
Huh? We're done already? Someone got it on the nose? Huh kay. Well, here's the right answer, first.

The team who had odd numbers on their Lingo cards won the game by the final score of 325 to 250. Who nailed 575 on the head?
Erik Mokracek 575It's Erik. Thanks to all for playing. Don't forget, we'll play two other audience games after the second Bonus Bonanza -- one of which is The Jackpot Game worth more than CY$36,000.
====================================================================== Voice guy: Net Anything to Win looks back at the 2012 campaign. Saturday night -- only VBS. ======================================================================Scarlett: Erik Mokracek, come on up. It's your chance to win big on Hot Dice.
Doug: All right, welcome back to Hot Dice. Erik, welcome to the dice table. We're going to play a game we call Higher and Higher.
I'll explain it as we go along. And over time you'll understand why we call this Higher and Higher.
We're already starting with Round 1 and a target number to beat. And the target number is...

(ding) (members of crew, then audience, laugh)
Doug: ...negative 66. There's a joke that goes with this target number -- but we don't have the time to explain it.
Now, Erik, you'll roll one dice cube in this first round. If you can beat that target number of -66, you win this first round and a prize. Even if you roll a 1, you win the first round. So, give it a roll.
(Erik rolls)

Doug: And he rolls a 5. That's your new target number. For winning the first round, what does he win?

Doug: Five cyber-Franklins for a 5. Now, Erik, if you want to play Round 2, you'll play with two dice. To win the second round, the dice must total higher than 5.
Succeed in the next round, you'll roll three dice in Round 3, if you want to go that far, and four dice in Round 4.
As you progress, if you can take the target number higher and higher, the stakes will be higher and higher. Scarlett, please tell us what's at stake the rest of the way.
Scarlett: Erik, if you manage to roll a sum higher than 5 in Round 2, you'll win an additional CY$2500.
Then, in Round 3, roll a higher sum and it's a trip to New Orleans for the Super Bowl. (audience cheers) Tuesday before the big game, a limo will take you and a guest from VBS 63 here in Hattiesburg, Mississippi to New Orleans, Louisiana -- where you'll enjoy a six-night stay in a luxurious hotel in the French Quarter. You'll also receive two tickets to the NFL's championship matchup. The day after the final score is in, your limo will pick you up and take you back here to VBS 63. A super prize package worth CY$10,250.
Finally, reach an even higher total with the dice in Round 4 and you'll win A NEW CAR! (audience cheers) Zip around town in the Mini Cooper. Comes with 6-speed manual transmission, push-button start, panoramic sunroof, six-speaker audio system and much more. A fantastic prize worth CY$24,600.
Erik, this game has a potential value of CY$37,850.

Doug: Wow, nearly 38-grand will be yours if you succeed in going all the way. But there's a catch. Anytime your dice total matches or is less than the target number, the game's over and you lose everything you've won in the game.
Right now, you're 500 to the good. Want to stop here and keep the CY$500 -- or risk it and try to win CY$2500 for a dice total higher than 5?
(audience shouts suggestions)
Erik: I want that car, Doug.
(Erik rolls)

Doug: Your target number is now 12. D.J. Hamilton is bringing out the big dice cup -- with which to roll three dice in Round 3 if you want to go for it. Rolling a higher target number gives you the trip to New Orleans for Super Week.
Do you quit with CY$3000 total -- or roll three dice and try for a sum higher than 12?
(audience shouts suggestions)
(Erik shakes cup)
Doug: Looks like he's going for it.
(Erik pours dice on table and rolls...)

Doug: Erik, you have more than CY$13,000 in merchandise and moolah right now. You'd be risking all of that to try to keep them and drive out of here in that new car.
Remember, if you go all the way, the four dice *have* to total more than 17 -- or else you lose it all.
What do you think? Stop and keep your trip and the CY$3000 -- or roll one more time for everything?
(audience shouts suggestions)
Erik: Come on 18 or higher.
(Erik shakes cup, pours dice on table and rolls...)

Doug: Oh no! A 2, another 2 and snake eyes total 6. You lose everything.
Doug: Well, we do have a nice gift for you backstage -- and our thanks for making this exciting here in Higher and Higher. Folks, a big hand for a big roller, Erik Mokracek.
Doug: Back with another main game -- after this.
